Stoke the Star Fire Within

Starfire Yoga, like many things, began as a dream. It blossomed into reality in 2020 amidst a world-wide pandemic unlike anything experienced in living memory. Our studio is a sanctuary in the storm of daily trials and tribulations – our hearts, lanterns that guide and warm the yogis and yoginis, who find refuge here for the times between time that are the yoga experiences we offer.

Our purpose is to inspire the creative Self and cultivate a community of yogis and yoginis, who live their yoga on and off the mat. With every class and workshop, our intention is to provide a peaceful, safe, and welcoming space where students can explore their own yoga practice, explore an appreciation for art of all kinds, and nurture a connection to their inner muse. We welcome students of all shapes and sizes, from new yogis to experienced practitioners.

All of us come to class for different reasons. These reasons may change day to day or moment to moment. Our studio works with each student to recognize the importance of their individual practice. We will help you increase awareness of your body and it’s needs. Our studio promotes individual growth by encouraging new poses, providing assistance to deepen poses, and having a strong body and breath connection.

Our classes have a strong emphasis on being aware of your body and your breath and honoring your body every time you come to the mat. You will be amazed at what you are capable of and how you will see changes in yourself such as better posture, weight loss, better breathing, decreased stress, and improved strength and endurance.

Come join us with an open mind and heart, and we will help you develop a strong yoga practice, that will carry you through the day in all you do.

Starfire Yoga Studio was created by Diana Moore, E-RYT 500, after years of teaching yoga, continually learning and growing as a teacher, and being active in the local art community. Diana’s dream was create a space that marries art and yoga, a place where an individual can come practice yoga surrounded by a gallery of local art and have the opportunity to cultivate creativity in their own lives, through artistic pursuits, business, or simply in managing daily life. We can all benefit from increasing our creative potential.
